About Alexandria

I'm a J.D. candidate at New York Law School with an MBA in Financial Management. My background in finance and my experience across legal and operational roles shape my focus on corporate and technology-related transactional work. I’m particularly interested in cybersecurity, data privacy, and data strategy, areas that are becoming fundamental to modern business operations, dealmaking, and regulatory oversight, and the responsible development and governance of emerging technologies.

I currently serve as a Law Student Extern at Gana Weinstein LLP through the Securities Arbitration Field Placement at New York Law School and as a research assistant for Dr. John Vafai at Lally & Misir LLP, examining the constitutional authority of the executive branch under an independent study with Dean Matt Gewolb. Previously, I was a Summer Legal Associate at Vital Strategies, where I conducted legal research on artificial intelligence, data privacy, and nonprofit law, supported contract review and compliance work, and presented findings to legal counsel and cross-functional teams.

At NYLS, I serve as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and the Italian Law Student Association, Treasurer for both the Legal Association for Women and First-Generation Professionals, and Academic Chair for the Privacy Law Society. I’m also active in the Sports Law Society and affiliated with the Center for Business and Financial Law.

I earned my B.A. in Political Science and minors in Economics and Global Studies from Marist College. My undergraduate years included leadership roles in the Student Government Association and the Marist Circle, revitalizing the Marist Red Fox Pack Booster Club, and study abroad experiences in Dublin and Florence.

Beyond academics, I'm passionate about writing on topics such as higher education, national security, politics, and technology, and I welcome the opportunity to connect with professionals, students, and innovators who are driven to create positive change.
